Kamineni Retail Enterprises was established in 2006 by Mr Rajeev and Mrs Priya Kamineni. The Directors lived and worked in Australia for 10 years before returning to India to set up the first of a chain of retail franchises of the well known Oxford Bookstore. The first Oxford Bookstore franchise set up by Mr & Mrs Kamineni is in Coimbatore, inaugurated in May 2007. Oxford Bookstore Coimbatore has over 50, 000 books, and a wide range of magazines, diaries, notepads, greeting cards and educational toys in a 3200 sq ft showroom on Trichy Road in Coimbatore. A Cha Bar offering more than 70 types of tea as well as a range of other drinks and snacks is located within the bookstore, for the patrons to relax and enjoy the books over a sip of cha. An exclusive kids area with tables and chairs is provided for little kids to browse and learn.
